Join the Carpoolear community! Over 70,000 Argentinians have been sharing car rides between cities across Argentina since 2013. Meet new people and enhance your travel experiences. Not only can you save money but also help the environment.

In just a few seconds, as a driver or passenger, you can offer or find a ride for free. Carpoolear is a collaborative and non-profit project by the civil association STS Rosario.

Carpoolear provides various privacy levels when posting your trip ("only for friends," "friends of friends," and "for all carpoolers"). You can also view ratings and Facebook profiles of other users. Rate your fellow carpoolers with whom you have shared a trip and start building your carpooling network.

Carpoolear is a collaborative economy project where everyone lends a hand. Travel expenses (fuel and tolls) are divided equally among travelers (driver and passengers). Of course, the driver may ask for a lower contribution or none at all! Some only request that the co-pilot never falls asleep or that they bring cake to share. It's just a matter of agreeing before traveling.

Carpoolear helps you contribute to the environment. When two drivers travel in one car, leaving the other one parked, it has a positive impact on the environment. Fewer cars on the road mean reducing greenhouse gas emissions, fossil fuel consumption, traffic jams, and pollution.

Carpoolear is a collaborative and non-profit management project by the civil association STS Rosario (www.stsrosario.org.ar). The platform's code is open-source, allowing you to review and contribute to the programming development at Github.
